Training and Seminars

Hungry Geeks is spreading out its LEGS program. LEARN is the first step to further Hungry Geeks’ mission to improve lives through technology.  Previous Hungry Geeks’ trainees will conduct training sessions and seminars to passionate and eager individuals as a pass-it-forward gesture. New trainees will be given a glimpse of the world of online freelancing. Aside from technology, discussions about health and nutrition will also be part of the program as Hungry Geek believes in a well-balanced lifestyle. The second step is EARN: trainees are paid worth 10 hours of work to “show-off” their skills and abilities to partner-clients. On top of earning money, trainees also earn the respect and trust of clients.

Hungry Geeks can also be a good environment for personal GROWth of its trainees. Hungry Geeks believes in continued learning. Trainees will still be monitored even after landing a job. Hungry Geeks has an open communication policy where previous trainees can ask help from trainers and fellow trainees.

Lastly, SHARE: graduates of the program will help Hungry Geeks in furthering its advocacy by spreading the good news. As a return service, graduates reach out to other Filipinos and help someone navigate the freelancing world.

LEGS program is designed as a never-ending loop to multiply its efforts and improve the lives of every Filipino.
