On September 5, 2016, Vicente Opeña was rushed to the hospital because he had his 3rd stroke, luckily the ambulance had a quick response/transport and were able to save his life. He is still in the hospital fighting for his life. His family has been trying to support his medical needs for the last two weeks but right now they are running short. There are many things needed to support his life like the oxygen, dextrose, blood transplant and other test that the Doctor are constantly requesting. Vicente just recently had a CT scan and the Doctors are studying if he would need to undergo surgery.

Vicente can’t talk properly, can’t eat and can’t stand-up. He reacts when his body is being moved and tries hard to say that his joints hurt. He is being fed using the NGT process and he is always in a diaper.
