Johannes provides Hungry Geeks with research and content to give broader reach and efficient actions for the non-profit. With 8 years of experience helping lawyers, mutual funds and insurance companies with research and operations, he helps Hungry Geeks not just with research and content, but also any other admin tasks required for the task at hand.

While he is a registered FINRA Series 6 broker in the US and has more than 5 years experience working for the financial sector, his foray in the corporate world is accidental.

He graduated with a degree in Philosophy cum laude, aiming for a life in the academia at first. He took Master levels for Social Studies from UP-Cebu aiming to be an academic researcher. However, his exposure to the hidden stories of society during his fieldwork as well as volunteer experience for many organizations has nurtured his passion to make the world a better place.

While studying for his Master’s, Johannes gained employment in various capacities, helping large multinational corporations and local small businesses like local law firms. He has experience being a process executive for an investing company, Portfolio reconciliation analyst for Manulife and John Hancock to a paralegal and legal admin for a Missouri law firm that focuses on civil and criminal law.

To help his clients, he learned on-page SEO, content and inbound marketing, technical writing and other skills.

He went on to study Law and opted to help with non-profits and lawyers. He hopes to help put food, nutrition, happiness and fulfillment for every hungry geek.
