September 16 – 17, 2017 – Hungry Geeks, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry CARAGA Region and in collaboration with OTOP – Tindahang Pinoy, hosted a two-day seminar and team building activity for businesses under OTOP.

The event, entitled “Teambuilding and Business Model Development Workshop” was provided for the New TP Tindahang Pinoy Stores of Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Province of Dinagat Islands. The Business Model TP TPS of Agusan del Norte was revisited for its Expansion to House the Wearables and Homestyle Showroom held on September 19 – 21, 2017 at O’s Landing Beach Resort in Britania, San Agustin which aims to educate Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on new technological advancement to better market and sell their products online.

The guest speaker for the seminar was Dr. Lorenzo F. Templonuevo, Senior Adviser Knowledge Management and Public Relations of German International Cooperation. Other speakers were Jerimy Lai and Rhoderick Candelario of Hungry Geeks Philippines. The seminar tackled increasing a business’s online presence, creating an effective mission and vision statement, and different types of organizational models.
